Kubwa Plains Camp is a mobile camp in the truest sense — struck and rebuilt several times a year to stay within reach of the Great Migration as it moves across the Serengeti’s endless grass plains. Eight tents, simply and comfortably furnished, are the only structures for miles in any direction.
This is a camp for purists: no swimming pool, no spa, just an unbroken view of the plains and the sound of lion contact calls carrying across the dark. Game drives track the migration’s movements closely, and in the right season, guests can watch a river crossing unfold from the vehicle’s open roof hatch.
A short walk from camp, the horizon runs uninterrupted in every direction — the Serengeti’s defining feature, and the reason so many guests say it changes how they see scale and wilderness.
