Luxury Tented Camp

Nyati Falls Camp

Location Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe
Capacity 14 guests
Camp Type Luxury Tented Camp

Nyati Falls Camp overlooks one of Hwange National Park’s most reliable waterholes, floodlit through the night so that guests can watch elephant herds — sometimes upward of a hundred animals — drink and bathe just metres from the lodge’s deck. Hwange’s dry-season concentrations of elephant are among the largest in Africa, and few camps put guests closer to them.

Zimbabwean guides are trained under one of the continent’s most demanding licensing systems, and it shows: tracking here is exacting, patient, and deeply informed. Game drives range across mopane woodland and open pans, while a short transfer connects guests to Victoria Falls for those extending their journey to see one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

Ten canvas-and-thatch tents, raised on decking and finished in warm neutral tones, keep the focus exactly where it belongs — on the waterhole, and whatever arrives at it next.
