Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1–2
Arrive Entebbe, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Kazinga Channel. Afternoon boat cruise past hippo pods, elephant herds, and prolific birdlife.
Day 3
Game drive through the Ishasha sector in search of Queen Elizabeth's famous tree-climbing lions, resting in the branches of sycamore fig trees.
Day 4
Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. Afternoon at leisure in the primate capital of East Africa.
Day 5
Guided chimpanzee tracking through Kibale's rainforest canopy, followed by a community and tea-plantation walk.
Day 6–7
Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Full-day mountain gorilla trekking with a habituated gorilla family — the trip's signature encounter.
Day 8
Optional Batwa cultural walk and forest birding before transferring toward Lake Bunyonyi for a restful final night.
Day 9
Transfer to Kigali or Entebbe for onward or homeward flights.
